Spring hasn't fully sprang yet, and I'm back to winter in my head today. A couple of shots from my last winter escapade with Piotr - delightful!

A day escapade on a January Sunday. We drove out of Krakow at dawn to get the most of the winter forest we could. We were counting on the spectacular views, instead got incredible quiteness of a winter forest. Thanks, Pyza for this tiny adventure and good luck with your travels! <3

Going up on top of something for sunrise is pretty cool and surreal. Babia Gora provides one of the greatest sightings. Its the first post using the blogger app so forgive me the pics not being in order.

weekend in the tatras

We were really lucky - We've got the last weekend with no snow in the mountains. It was the only serious mountain hike I did this year: a trek up to the Five Lakes (Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich), and two climbing days on Zamarła Turnia, one of the Polish famous walls. Thanks Anto and Dawid, and the crew at the Five Lakes mountain shelter (Schronisko.)

An event published recently made me remember a weekend trip from some time back (when it was warm out). Here are the pictures from then.

Last April Antek, Dawid and I decided to go to the mountains for a spring sunrise. Not only we ran out of gas and had to push the car a few kilometers to the next pump, but we experienced one of the coldest times in the mountains ever. However, despite the cold, Babia Gora was beautiful as it always is.
