Narracje Festival wasn't only about art installations. They organized a festival club in an old ferry terminal in Nowy Port and it was sick! I think I've got all the performers captured here, learn more about the artists and the festival itself on the event website! In the meantime, here are all my shots from Gdańsk so far. |
| Happening since 2009, Narracje Festival has been brightening various off-the-beaten-track neighbourhoods of Gdańsk. Curated by international community of art professionals it takes over an area of the city and implements installations, concerts, performances and such into the fabric of public space. This entry is nothing more than a visual journey through nighttime Nowy Port where it all took place. The Festival is organized by IKM, the Urban Culture Institute of Gdańsk. I had a chance to experience another event they threw this year, the StreetWaves festival. You can check out my cellphone report from streetwaves here and here. It was my first time at Narracje, but I’m sure I’ll be back!
